The Backyard Pantry:

The Backyard Pantry specializes in setting up ready to plant raised bed gardens in the Greater Birmingham, AL area.  Our mission to help as many people as possible enjoy the benifits of home gardening by making it easy and fun.

Have you always wanted to garden but found the work of preparing a garden area to be too daunting?  Do you only have a small area to grow plants but want to supplement your diet with home grown fruits and vegetables? 

Our business goal is to make it where once your Backyard Pantry® raised bed has been installed, you can walk out your door and begin planting your garden.  We currently serve the greater Birmingham, AL metro area*.  

When you order one of our raised beds our services include the following things:

Sod or ground cover removal for the area where the bed will be placed

Building the Cyprus raised bed box

Filling the bed with 12” of good organic topsoil

Conditioning your soil to the proper pH for growing

Our first 10 customers will also receive a complementary copy of The Square Foot Gardener a book that will help you maximize your gardening area.
